According to the latest available data, Statistics Canada estimates 4,157 suicides took place in Canada in 2017, making it the 9th leading cause of death, between Alzheimer's Disease (8th) and Cirrhosis and other liver diseases (10th). In 2009, there were an estimated 3,890 suicide deaths. 50 boys and 200 girls ages 10-19 were hospitalized in canada alone between 2017-2018. Globally one person dies every 40 seconds. And the numbers are rising.

Compassion, kindness, a sounding board and facilities are accessible and that through life's struggles and heartaches, misfortunes and hard times, we see you. We're here. Thanks for being here. This website certainly isn't for the faint of heart.... Admittedly, it's not all rainbows and unicorns, because life isn't rainbows and unicorns. It's real. You're real and sometimes life gets sticky and tricky. Though life breeds love when we get to empower and encourage each other to be our authentic selves, it is understandable that life can also throw you a miracle, a curveball or questions galore.
Breathe.
So when you catch yourself asking, Who am I? What is my purpose? Why am I questioning everything and feeling overwhelmed? Or when life hits you with anxiety, depression, grief, etc, know that your questions are valid and what you're going through will be ok! Know that you don't have to go at any of it alone.
